Two Thumbs Up for Dreamworks' "Over The Hedge"

An animated movie by the creators of "Shrek", "Over The Hedge" is a delightful DVD rental. Among other things, it's a satire on suburbia & American consumerism. OK, so it's an entertaining movie, why write about it here? The turtle, Vern, mentions throughout, how his tale is tingling when he's sensing that something's not right, or safe. He keeps experiencing his felt sense in his tale. When he doesn't listen to and overrides his felt sense, things go awry. Although we generally experience these kinds of felt sense warnings in our solar plexus, our gut, the same is true for us. "Over The Hedge" is an adorable depiction of the felt sense at work.
